There are many ways for us to gather information from the world around us. We can hear it. Simply by being present in the moment and truly listening to what is going on gives the impression of what is actually being done. To hear is something we have been given as a gift to make sense out of what we can not see. The words in which we hear are a form of power that no other creature posses.

Today’s Story

“Treading down the pathway at night wondering how the fireflies vibrant color ignites the sky on command. During the breezy summer nights where the wind hit’s the skin, perfectly. Hearing the sounds of the crickets chirping with the occasional “Plop!” of another frog jumping into the water. Observing the sound of the bats reflecting their sound off one another and trees in search of food or a mate. Hear, See, Speak.

Mother Nature has delicately presented herself with the soothing comfort of simply being. Being able to see her gives the perspective of the natural beauty in which she dress herself. Being able to hear her seduces the goose bumps upon the skin which rub the fraction of time. To be able to yell out at her with an echo back shows the true power in the world which we all live in.

Through the three capabilities she has given us we can, if we are fortunate enough, observe her from different perspectives. Each offering the opportunity to gather knowledge in one form or another. The simple act of being within the moment gives God’s gift to us all.

Hear See Speak

Hear See Speak

There are many ways for us to gather information from the world around us. We can hear it. Simply by being present in the moment and truly listening to what is going on gives the impression of what is actually being done. To hear is something we have been given as a gift to make sense out of what we can not see. The words in which we hear are a form of power that no other creature posses.

Now, we can also see things that we may never hear. To observe an ant as is work in collaboration with it’s colony to build a massive underground city. The wonders in which how they communicate so intricately and precisely. Almost as if to be given the instinctive nature to put autopilot on and smoothly make a complicated task seem as if it were just meant to be. Seeing the marvel in all of the colors around us and how Mother Nature and the Universe have presented them without a single flaw.

Speaking, the last of what can either be great or get us into trouble. The ability to speak and form the intelligence of what goes on not only in our own mind but to formulate what we see and here. The power of words can cut like a sword or lift like a pillar. Something that could be taken from us within a moments notice but help us along our path.

Each of these natural phenomena are gifts that we posses to build a bridge between knowledge and wisdom. Creating the connection when to use one over the other. We have the consciousness to decide which fit at any given moment. Will I just listen for the moment or should I speak? How far will observing just get me and should I even be listening at all?

Question For The Day

How do you use your ability to see, speak and hear? Which one can you improve on and which one may get you into trouble? Where do you see one benefiting over the other?

We have a choice in life. Something that is not given to other creatures around us. The choice to learn and gain knowledge. An infinite amount of ability to decide what we may do next with ourselves and how we determine where we go next. For me, if I observe and see first, I am able to respond to the world better. I must listen and then see what is going on before I act through speaking. If I speak first, I tend to get myself into trouble. That’s just me though.

Hear, See, Speak. The three abilities that can be removed at any given moment yet are so delicate in our everyday process.

Knowledge has the ability to make us or break us. Use it wisely.
