Today’s Story
“With the incentive to create, the author sits upon the side of their bed. Thinking about what the future may hold and if they are good enough. Unable to know if the next project will make the cut or be put upon the wayside. Wondering what to do next in the midst of the unknown. He chuckle’s… “To sit and write, of course.” Whispering to himself.
You see, the avid writer has been in the limbo of not knowing what to do next. Some how he had forgotten what he loves to do. Write. Letting the passion he has desired for the past twenty years sit by the wayside all week while he was anticipating a letter back from his publisher. Silly goose, shouldn’t he have known, just write some more and you’ll feel okay.
What’s better than already knowing yourself and being content with what you have? The author sits down to reflect the exact feelings that he had been going through in the confusion of his world. Portraying an imagine upon the pages of his next successful book. Illustrating through his mind the struggles of an aspiring writer. The challenges we all go through on a daily basis, yet touching the personal hearts of many others.
Needless to say, that was an enlightening moment for the man who wrote seventy books. He had grown to an old age doing what he loved most. To write books for those in the world who wanted to hear. Each time he had struggled through life he had learned to sit and write.“

To Sit and Write
Here’s a pointer I was given a long time ago, when you find your way stay consistent with what you know. Hear me out, it’s okay to travel off the path a little bit but never allow yourself to stray too far. It’s easy to get lost in the winds of the storm. When something that works, seems to be doing the trick, why switch it up? There’s a reason it works. That’s not to say that we can not discover new ways to do things or understand a better way to do them.
Self-Discovery comes with being comfortable with yourself. Realizing that if sitting down to read a book calms your mind then that is something you must do on a daily basis. If the chair on your porch remains empty all summer long when the truth is, you love to hear the birds chirp in the morning dew. Without wielding your cup of coffee to a good morning smoke, breathing the fresh air of meditation to take on the world.
What works for you should be what helps you become more content.
Discover ways to put the soul at ease. To quite the mind. To satisfy the physical body. Be content in the body that you live in. There is no right or wrong way to live your own life.
Question For The Day
What do you do on a daily basis that works for you? Are there things that you do, that without them you would not be the same person?
The beautiful thing about being an individual is that you are your own person. The traits that you carry and the character that you play are determined by the motions you create. There’s no hand book to understanding who you are, you must get out there and discover the person in the mirror.
For me, I write every morning as you can clearly see. The moment I get to release either something that I am going through or to tell a good story. If I’m feeling fine the writing makes me feel even better. If I am struggling then yet again, I feel at peace once I write down what I feel.

Good Day! This post spoke directly to me, specifically about my to “write or not to write”battle lately. I just feel as though people don’t read anymore and it disheartens me. I’ve always loved words and how they can make us feel on their own without joining with anything else. Anyhoo… Thank you for reminding me that I always feel better as I’m writing; it’s my therapy.
I need to do more of what makes me feel good each day. Writing, listening to music and creating HerbalAroma balancing Delights.
Thank you again. Wishing you Love, Peace and continued Success. 😊🙏
