He took a left turn and saw a road block just up ahead. Right, right, right! In a split instant the road block was avoided by the sudden movement. Another one. Now the traffic is backed up a mile and a half and there is no turn in sight. What is the conscious mind? The split second decisions made to turn his vehicle so suddenly without first looking around had resulted in the immediate consequence of losing not five minutes but a whole twenty.

Today’s Story

“He took a left turn and saw a road block just up ahead.

Unsettled, aggravated and set on ruining the rest of the day he begins to yell at the surrounding drivers. Unaware that it is not their responsibility for the back-up but rather the crane that is lifting the last stone of the side barricade. The barricade that protects the pedestrians from on-coming traffic so they are out of the way of harm.

How easy it is to make a sudden decision that can result in the miscarriage of an entire situation.

Now he is late for work, upset for the day and blaming others for the decision’s he has made.”

What Is The Conscious Mind

What Is The Conscious Mind

Let me first give you the definition of Conscious: aware of and responding to one’s surroundings; awake. There are more than ten different variations of the definition that we can delve into but I will leave that up to you to discover. To be aware of your surrounding environment you must be in tune with your senses, yourself and have the ability to process thoughts for which the situation you are in.

It’s not always about making an immediate reaction but rather taking the right action after a pause. The conscious mind is there to help aid in the understanding to what is going on. Acting within the impulse of the doer does not help at all. What if there were a different way or another perception?

Basically there is a tool we often forget about. The power of the mind. Take into account all of the simple signs around you often and decipher them into something that can make continual sense. We have control over the entire spectrum of how our day will go and the constant thoughts that run throughout our mind to a minimal basis. No, we don’t control the outside world but, we do have the intuition to understand it deeply so long as we are open minded enough.

You posses the power of a thinking process that others don’t even understand. Take it for granted and you will continue to do the same thing everyday. Harness the power and you will begin to understand that destiny is within your hands.

Question For The Day

What is your understanding of the conscious mind? What in your life can you reevaluate and change for the better?

Take a moment today and take a breather. Take into consideration the subconscious thoughts that run through the mind and counter that with the conscious mind. Action is taken when the conscious meets the unconscious mind.To have an open mind in which you can use to determine the perception of the outer world. There is only the answer that you have.

There’s nothing wrong with taking into consideration what could be or what ought to be. When we reevaluate ourselves and the world, we are given the gift to change our perception.

Change one thing today and it can have in impact on the rest of your life. The crazy part is most of the time it can have a positive influence over not only yourself but the entire world around you.
