Today’s Story
“The test has been taken. The classes have been aced. There is nothing left to worry about and the ball has stopped rolling. The journey is complete yet there is nothing left on the agenda. Time to wrap it up? The fight has only just begun. Acquiring the position at the mountain top requires constant maintenance to keep. As the emperor of Rome would say, you must fight to stay on the throne. Once the battle is won there is more to keep on fighting for and that is to keep what you’ve already obtained. Continue to approach each day through the eyes of a warrior to keep the throne you rightfully own.”

Keep On Fighting
When you come to the end of the road there is more to keep your eyes on. The road never truly ends and the fight never stops. To consistently fight for what you’ve obtained is part of the process. Just because you’ve made it does not mean you are guaranteed to always have it. There is a reminder you must constantly tell yourself, to keep on going. While fighting for what you have is easier than the fight it took to get you must still remember to keep your guard up.
The journey we take in life is never truly over. The required skill set to get what you want is the same one that is used to keep what you have. The drive and motivation you have should never dwindle to a smokey haze but rather the burning flame that has always been.
Question For The Day
When you get what you want, do you think about what it will take to keep it? Are you aware of what you have and how hard you really had to work for it?
The hard work required to have the continued success in life that you deserve is no easy task. When you look back on accomplishments it’s easy to feel like they were easy to obtain when it reality it could have taken years of self-assessment. There is no easy path on this walk of life we are in together. We must all fight for the positions we have while standing together.
