When you actively listen the world becomes a place of challenge with purpose and integrity.”
Don’t Just Hear, Listen Too
How often it is said, “Yes I heard you.” or “Yeah I get it.” Only to find out the words were spoken upon deaf ears when the trials are set forth.
With holidays upon us, we will be connecting hopefully with many individuals. Some which we have not seen for months, years or even a lifetime. Actively listen to these people you encounter. You may learn something new or even find out things you never knew about your own bloodline. People don’t want to just be heard. They want to be listened to.
Question For The Day
When people talk to you are you hearing them or, are you listening? Can you recite the detail from your daily conversations with others?
Listening is a practiced skill that works where ever, when ever. Listen to yourself, listen to others and listen to the world around you. The universe will speak to you if you allow it to do so.
When you start to listen you will realize; there is much that has been missed. When I was younger people used to tell me,”You’ll see when you get older!” Pfffft. Yeah right!
