“From the bottom looking up feels so useless and hopeless. The drive to continue may falter and hope can be lost along the way. Inner-strength is a tool to be held tightly in the palm in the case of immediate use. Tell yourself “I am great” or “I do deserve this.” It can sometimes be hard to say these words without feeling as if there is no use. Rest assured they are the words the world’s greatest warriors use on a daily basis and so you should.”

In times of hardship it could often be extremely difficult to tell yourself that you are doing just fine. A horrible habit of mine is that I can actually convince myself I don’t necessarily deserve what I’m being freely given. A promotion at work, a better seat at a concert or even an extra day off from work because of over performance. Some how I always manage to shake it off as no big deal.

Each accomplishment should be award by no one but yourself. Take pride in the walk you live for many others may never see the same opportunity. Understand that each individual walk is just as important as the next. We all have a part to play in this everyday adventure we call life.

When you wake up in the morning do yourself a favor. Look in the mirror and tell yourself “I am great.”
