Gratitude is Often Forgotten – Will’s Wisdom

“To forget that others may be less fortunate removes the sincere feeling of gratitude. Outside the confines of ones own mind there are many whom have already fallen short due to constraint of the mind. A road block is merely a learning experience; ready to be conquered so all can move on. Every set of circumstances leaves behind a trail, if closely observed, with key notes one can take forever on their endeavor through life.”

When’s the last time you sat down and made a gratitude list? Here’s mine since it’s been far too long… I’m guilty for not appreciating that around me as often as I should:

1: I am Grateful to have woken up today in good health.

2: I am Grateful to have a lot of amazing people involved in my life that push me to do good and to be the best version of myself.

3: I am Grateful for the food I have on a daily basis to eat and hope to never struggle with some thing as simple as hunger.

4: I am Grateful for my workplace and the people that are involved with me on a daily basis that help keep our lives running, as we all help one another through our journey.

I can continue but I feel this is a good start to making a better list when I can be more sincere about it.

Take the time to show the world that you appreciate your place within it. To give thanks is a daily reminder that the world isn’t so bad after all. Keep it simple and smile on.

If no one has told you they love you today, “I love you.”

    • Thanks brother, I do my best to show appreciation. I’m learning a lot about myself and the more I give thanks the more I tend to appreciate the small things in life. Including the green light that’s usually red!!
